The Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 smartphone is now official. It sports quad core processor on top of 4.5 inch display and 1.5 Gigs of RAM.
This latest rugged phone from Samsung complies with MIL-STD 810G military standards.

Rugged phones are still popular as Samsung is working on Galaxy XCover 3 smartphone with model number SM-G388F. The device which was leaked on GSMArena is definitely coming up as live pictures of the phone was spotted.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 is primarily the successor to Galaxy XCover 2 smartphone launched in 2013. Going with the image, device sports hardware buttons for back, home and Menu and since all the XCover phones were rugged device, we are expecting IPX certification to higher degree for water, dust and sand proof.
Going with the hardware perseptive, device doesn’t come with any ground breaking news. You will see XCover 3 model with 4.8 inch WVGA touchscreen display, 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera, 8 Gigs of Internal storage and powered with quad core Marvell Armada PXA1908 chipset with Cortex A53 processor coupled with 1 Gigs of RAM. It will be an Android phone running the 4.4 Kitkat version.
No details on pricing or the launch date were revealed but going with tech events, launch MWC 2015 is definitely expected.
