A new smartphone manufactured by Samsung Electronics has officially cleared the FCC approval process. The device name isn’t known yet but it will carry model number SM-G389F and we at TechnosAmigos figured it out to be Samsung Galaxy XCover 4.

Tracking down the history of smartphone launched by Samsung, the SM-G389F is exactly fitting to be successor to SM-G388F which to all of us is known as ‘Galaxy XCover 3‘. No doubt that the SM-G389F will be name as Galaxy XCover 4. Hold on, because that’s not just one hint, there is one more. According to the FCC filing Samsung Galaxy XCover 4 SM-G389F will be sporting 4.5 inch display, predecessor does have the same display as well. And finally, XCover 3 was launched last year in March, so we are already into March 2016 – time for successor.
