iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7

Both the companies are popular names when it comes to smartphone and infact, Samsung’s Galaxy S line-up is the only one which has carried the task of competing the Android lineup with any iPhone until so far. In the past it has been mixed of reactions, it’s time for big face-off this year – the Apple iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7 battle. I am sure the Samsung Galaxy S7 vs iPhone 7 will remain as the biggest discussion of 2016.

While the Galaxy S7 is almost done, the iPhone 7 has still pretty healthy another 4-6 to add up as many technologies, features and hardware possible. Are they going to be waterproof? Will they include wireless charging capabilities? The Samsung Galaxy lineup has already had both the features mentioned above[wireless charging and waterproof one are the ones we are talking about Galaxy S5 Active, S6 Active AT&T versions].

The Galaxy S7 will be out with atleast four variants right of the launch – Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Plus and Galaxy S7 Edge Plus. Just like that iPhone 7 will be launched in two variants of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. All these smartphones will be available in different storage variants as well.

5.7 Inch Galaxy S7 Edge Plus Leaked with 12 MP Rear Camera

After people going gaga over Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung has plans to introduce Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.

Rumors of iPhone 7 are on all time high and Samsung Galaxy S7 is readily available in the market with S7 Edge taking all the pride with positive reviews. While the iPhone 7 smartphone is still atleast a months away from the official launch, the Galaxy S7 Edge Plus, a new variant of current and existing Galaxy S7 Edge is due launch very soon.Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus

Yesterday the front panel of upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 was launched showing that the device will have 5.2 inch display and today we have which reveals that the device will be sporting 5.7 inch display. This however is the Galaxy S7 variant and mostly likely to be Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.

This piece of information comes from Reddit, showing that S7 Edge Plus sports 5.7 inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. With that screenshot it’s quite evident that S7 Edge Plus will be using Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU and comes with 4 Gigs of RAM.

Handset will also feature 12 mega pixel rear camera and 5 mega pixel front facing camera with sensor larger than 16 Mega pixel unit found on Galaxy S6 family. Given that with 12 mega pixel camera, the Galaxy S7 family will provide higher image quality with lower pixel resolution and you shouldn’t consider that the camera specs are downgraded. That 12 mega pixel is as powerful as 23 mega pixel Sony sensor.

So put together, the following might be the possible specs of Galaxy S7 Edge Plus –

  • 5.7 inch 2560 x 1440 pixels Quad HD Super AMOLED display
  • Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection
  • 12 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, auto focus, HDR
  • 5 mega pixel front facing camera
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with Adreno 530 and Samsung Exynos 8890 with Mali T860 GPU variants
  • 4 Gigs of RAM
  • 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Always On Display
