A Chinese company, TCL which is famous for making Alcatel smartphones is ready to launch a new phone which will be powered by an eight-core processor for the first time. The rumored model seems to be the next upcoming series model for the previous Alcatel Idol X which will be known as Alcatel X, and is to be scheduled to release on 26 December, as Christmas present to the public.

Possibilities are that the MTKSJ website has posted some stunning and intriguing images for this advanced and latest flagship model which is accompanied by the pictures of a smartwatch and smart bracelet. The new model boasts of portraying a similar 5 inch screen with full HD Display like Alcatel Idol X. some other interesting features of this model are 16 GB of internal memory, 2 GB of RAM and rear camera with 13 MP. Of course, the smartphone will sport the latest Android OS platform which is ought to attract new phone seekers and buyers in the country.

New Alcatel Idol+ mobile is rumored to be powered by an 8-core MT6592 1.7 GHz processor from the Taiwanese CPU manufacturer, MediaTek.

The reports also suggest that this smartphone will be launched at 2:30 pm from Beijing time and will be sold through Jingdong Mail, the Chinese eCommerce website from 26th December onwards.
