As many users are interested in phablet phones, manufactures have blend themselves to introduces all size of phablets ranging from 5 inch display to 6.5 inch. Umi Mobiles marked a strong entry just like Gionee or Xiomi but then failed to capitalize and the Chinese smartphone maker, is ready to launch their first phablet as they have announced Umi Cross.
Umi Cross will directly take on Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 or Sony Xperia Z Ultra as it sports daunting 6.44 inch 1080p full HD display with OGS Panel at 342 ppi pixel density. Although it an upgraded version to Umi X2 in terms of looks, the Cross from Umi gets very nice updates to hardware feature.
It’s equipped with the latest MediaTek MTK6589T quad core processor with 2 GB RAM and includes PowerVR SGX544 GPU unit. It directly imports the 13 mega pixel Sony Exmor RS camera with F2.0 aperture and also with amazing 8 mega pixel front facing camera. It includes Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of box with Google Play Store access as well.
It comes with 32 GB internal storage capacity and other features like NFC Chip, HIFI stereo amplifier, MHL support, OTG, and Bluetooth 4.0. Under the back panel, Cross has 4150 mAh Li-ion removable battery which provides standby time of up to 350 hours. It comes with Dual SIM capabilities a micro Sd card slot supporting up to 64 GB storage.
