First ever VAIO smartphone is pinned to debut on March 12 in an exclusive event.
Last year, Sony sold VAIO laptop brand to JIP so that they can focus solely on phones, tablets and Televisions. JIP now has intention to come up with their own smartphone lineup to be introduced in the VAIO brand name. It’s first ever smartphone named as VAIO phone and it’s now officially announced. It was spotted passing through benchmark February last week.
It’s launch via an exclusive event on March 12, a week after Mobile World Congress [MWC 2015].
Going through technical specifications it will be sporting 5 inch HD display with 13 mega pixel primary camera and 5 mega pixel front facing camera. It will be powered with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of box with 64 bit Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset clocked at 1.2 Ghz.
