Massilia, France based Wiko is known to provide low cost smartphones in France with devices ranging from Cink Peax at 130 Euros and Cink King priced at 190 Euros. Wiko is rumored to come up with non-standard 5.7 inch display to be dubbed as Darkside. This will be another large screen phone added thanks to popularity raised by Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Mega 5.8 phones.
After initial devices launches in 2012, Wiko is prepared to have high visibility in France as Darkside 5.7 inch quad core phones will be the first device for them with large scale promotion. It’s believed to be the successor of King Cink phone.
Under the hood, its includes Gorilla Glass with tablet size display but smartphones features. Its believed to be powered with MediaTek MT6589 quad core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and supported with 1 GB RAM and PowerVR SGX544 GPU provides the graphical support. It includes wonderful 13 mega pixel camera with 720p HD video filming (not sure of 1080p) and we also see 5 mega pixel front facing camera as well.
Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean is the operating system version included in this smartphone and sadly there is no 4G LTE connectivity available as its limited to only 3G HSPA+. It will be unveiled at MedPi event been held from May 14 to 17, 2013 in Monaco.

No further details were available at this time about the device pricing but it said that it will be priced less than 250 Euros.
