ZTE for the United States market has always come up with budget smartphones with 4G LTE connectivity and expanding their smartphone lineup company launches two new phones, ZTE Sonata 2 and Maven for AT&T. The latter is available on AT&T Wireless.
ZTE Sonata 2 is considered to be successor of ZTE Sonata 4G phone.
Display, Design, Performance
Moving from its predecessor, it has the same display with WVGA 800 x 480 pixels resolution. Unlike its predecessor, Sonata 2 gets scratch resistant glass protection from Dragontrail glass. Much of the attention is paid to display to make it scratch free handset. The dimensions of the device are 4.92″ x 2.51″ x 0.45″ inches. Device still maintain design which is similar to 2013 Galaxy Phones with plastic all over.
In terms of processor we have the 1.2 GHz Quad core processor coupled with 1 Gigs of RAM and that’s a nice upgrade moving from Sonata 4G.
Camera & Other Features
Even though the rear side camera is of 5 mega pixel range, it can record HD videos with LED flash improving the quality of pictures that you take. There is also 2 mega pixel front facing camera meant for selfies.
Equaling the iPhone 6, ZTE Sonata 2 gets HAC Rating of M4, T4. Furthermore, it includes SRS TruMedia surround sound with rich media output.
