Business-oriented Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition now official in the US

Samsung Electronics has just announced Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise edition in the United States. The unlocked device is priced at $994 and available for order through authorized Samsung Channel partners. As of now, only Midnight Black colors is in stock.

The South Korean smartphone giant is trying to target business-entrepreneurs with this special made-for-Business Enterprise edition. This edition is already available South Korea and Germany.

Companies are striving hard to keep their data secured and since everything has turned mobile, security on your smartphone is a must.

Specifications-wise, all new Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise edition offers the same performance as the standard models but the only difference is the software. According to Samsung, this Business-first Galaxy Note8 Enterprise edition comes proprietary Samsung Enterprise Firmware Over the air(E-FOTA) and Knox Configure. This will help IT admins to deliver a custom mobile experience and comprehensively manage software updates through centralized OS.

The Galaxy Note8 Enterprise edition will receive monthly security patches for at least three years. So that additional one year of extended warranty, instead of just two. It also includes several extended warranty options too.

Samsung has already added enhanced DeX capabilities, which extends the mobile experience to desktop platforms at anywhere. Moreover, the improved S Pen allows you to take notes and annotate photos and documents.

Furthermore, this enterprise-ready smartphone comes with no pre-loaded carriers apps and you can fine-tune the devices to specific business settings automatically during the initial phone setup.
