After Nokia 2 and Nokia 2.1 it turned out to be Nokia 3.1 Plus which now gets the Android Security Patch Update for the month of April 2019 dated as on 1st May 2019.
The Sub Rs 10,000 Android One smartphone by HMD Global at our end shown up notification with this update available. I didn’t wait for any Wi-Fi connection even though I was at home and straightaway got the upgrade which weighs just 86 MB.
As of now this update is available for the users in India and it will be rolled out to other countries where Nokia 3.1 Plus is available within this week.
How to Update:
In order to get the Nokia 3.1 Plus April Android Security Patch Update, follow the process mentioned below –
- You should have received a pop-up notification showing the update available.
- Tap on it to Download and then Install.
- You should ensure that you have atleast 30% battery left on your device either the update will not be proceeded.
The total time taken for the update is around 5-10 minutes because it’s a small update.
