The Nexus 5 was produced by LG Electronics but Nexus 6 is by Motorola. The Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 debuts with 5.0 Lollipop the latest version by Android and here is the LG Android Lollipop Update schedule, ETA for some of the LG Android phones.
LG Android Lollipop Update
Several of the LG Android phones will be receiving the Android Lollipop update, bringing the materialistic design update. The Android L developer preview was available for Nexus 5 earlier but the update will be rolled out within a week’s time. Definitely the Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 are the prime runner to get this update early and then followed with LG G Pad 8.3 GPE Edition in November 2014.
The Android Lollipop update will also be available to LG G3, LG G3 LTE-A, L Fino, L Bello, LG GX, G3 Stylus, G3 Vista, G3 S, G3 Dual and few others.
