Motorola India is all set to launch Moto G5 Plus smartphone in India on March 15th. It will be launched and available for booking following a press event same day. Motorola through the official Moto India Twitter account confirmed that India is one of the key markets for them and by offering G5 Plus, they want to live up to their promise.

Motorola announced Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones at Mobile World Congress [MWC 2017] held at Spain. To remind you, Moto G5 Plus has 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The pixel density was found to be 424 PPI. It’s powered by Octa core Cortex A-53 processor clocked at 2 Ghz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 GHz chipset. Adreno 506 GPU handles graphical processing.

Moto G5 Plus will be available worldwide in different variants based on RAM and internal storage. You can buy it with 2 GB, 3 GB and 4 GB RAM variant with either 32 GB or 64 GB built-in storage. It also includes a microSD card slot supporting memory expansion up to 256 GB in size. As of now, Motorola even didn’t reveal which model is arriving in India.

It’s a water-repellant device running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has a front-mounted fingerprint sensor and packs 3000 mAh non-removable battery with Turbocharge.

From the camera point of view, Moto G5 Plus sports 12 megapixels rear camera with Sony IMX362 image sensor with f/1.7 aperture, supports 2160 pixels video recording at 30 fps. On the front, it has 5-megapixel shooter [f/2.2 aperture] for video calls and selfies. Other features of the main camera are auto-HDR, panorama, face detection, geo-tagging and dual-toned LED flash. It’s available in Fine Gold and Lunar Grey colors.
