Comparison Points
Display Wise
In terms of display, both device provides same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels but screen size is bit different. While Asus latest phablet size is of 6.8 inch, close to a tablet starting size, the Mi Max feels smaller beside it as it has just 6.44 inch display. Yes, I said just, but 6.4 inch is a way big and considering phablets territory we are comparing these devices. Do keep that in mind.
Still I would pick Xiaomi here because for phone 6.8 inch is way too big.
Battery Life
The Zenfone 3 Ultra gets 4600 mAh battery as compared to 4850 mAh found on Mi Max. Now don’t think that bigger is better. Overall, they are average in performance and large is just because of the larger display.
Both does include support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.
Price Comparison
While Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra is priced at $479 for the 4 GB RAM with 64 GB version, the Xiaomi phablet here is way much affordable costing just Rs 19,999 for the 4 GB RAM with 128 GB storage.
Winner in terms of pricing – Xiaomi Mi Max
Conclusion
Both of these phablets are definitely the best right now. We won’t say don’t buy this or that but it depends on availability in your country. While Xiaomi Mi Max will be soon reaching other Asian countries, ZenFone 3 Ultra could easily take couple of months to reach your country.
