LG V20 Oreo update: Know about LG V20 Android 8.0 update, update availability dates and expected features.
The first Android Nougat 7.0 powered smartphone is slated to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update. Although its the upcoming version of Android, we are sure that the LG V20 will be receiving the Android 8.0 update much ahead of other devices. Sadly it will be the first Nexus or Google line of devices will get the Android 8.0 OTA update. This time its Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL are the front runner.
LG V20 Android 8.0 Update
The Google I/O is scheduled from May 17 to May 19, 2017 and it will be the time that Google will announce all new Android 8.0 version. It’s now the first time that we hear about the upcoming Android version as in 2016 itself Motorola leaked the Android 8.0 O update accidentally. All the Motorola phones comes with two years of software update cycle and as does the Android One smartphones as well.
Going through the LG V20 specifications, we have this device with 5.7 inch Quad HD and 2.1 inch [1040 x 160 pixels] dual display and powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 and Adreno 530 GPU. There is dual 16 mega pixel (29 mm, f/1.8) and 8 mega pixel (12 mm, f/2.4) primary camera with OIS and has 5 mega pixel front facing selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture. Available in 32 GB and 64 GB variant it has 4 Gigs of RAM and 3200 mAh removable battery keeps the light on.
Nothing much is known about LG V20 Android 8.0 update or Android 8.0 features. We hope to see the Android 8.0 developer preview to be available very soon.
Talking about which LG V20 models, the international variant will be the first to get it then followed with dual SIM LG V20 Dual H990DS and H990N scheduled next. The software release might happen in the Q4, 2017.
