Low Cost Lenovo Vibe B Launched in India at Rs 5,799

Targeting customers who have a budget of Rs 6,000, Lenovo has introduced Vibe B smartphone. It’s the latest smartphone in the Vibe Series of affordable smartphones. According to Mahesh Telecom, a popular Mumbai retailer, it’s priced at Rs 5,799 and available in Matte Black colour.

Specifications-wise, it’s an entry level device with 4.5-inch FWVGA display. It’s powered by Mediatek MT6735M quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB inbuilt storage. Storage can be increased by adding a micro SD card to the device.

The Lenovo Vibe B has 5 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, both located just above the Lenovo branding. There is a front-facing 2 megapixel camera for selfies and video chat.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and 2000 mAh battery powers the device. Apart from all the stock Google Apps like YouTube, Gmail, Hangout, Maps, Play Music, Play Movies and TV, Google Play and Google+ it comes with productivity apps like Evernote, McAfee Security, UC Browser, Route 66 Navi+ maps, i-Free eBook Store, Skype and Twitter apps.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, micro-USB port and GPS with aGPS support. It weighs 144 grams and dimensions are 132.5 x 66 x 9.9 mm.

At Rs 6,999, Swipe Elite Plus remains a favorite choice among customers recently. In comparison with Vibe B, it offers improved features. Panasonic Eluga Tapp also remains viable Vibe B alternative.
