  • Open the applications drawer and then opt for the Settings icon.
  • After that you should opt for the User and Backup section from the settings screen.
  • Then use the backup and the Reset option. In the tab view the settings can be viewed in the General tabs.
  • After this you will be required to tap the option of personal data and then opt for the option of factory data reset.

Rugged Samsung Galaxy S8 Active to be available on Sprint with a different Name

IP-68 certified Samsung Galaxy S8 Active smartphone will soon get a Sprint variant and as per the latest rumors, it’s expected to launch on November 17. We are saying this because a render of Sprint variant of rugged Galaxy S8 Active was revealed by Evan Blass on Twitter(Twitter handle:@evleaks), has the image of the device with date on the phone’s home-screen printed as Friday, November 17. That’s just our assumption and further, there is no confirmation on this.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is already available in the United States from AT&T with model number SM-G892A since August 8, 2017.

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Active was until now exclusive to AT&T in the US but it’s set to change this year. After T-Mobile, Sprint could be the third carrier to offer rugged and MIL-STD-810G (US military standard) compliant Galaxy S8 Active smartphone.

Infact this is not the first time that any Galaxy S Active (rugged smartphones) lineup is launched in the United States apart from T-Mobile, as earlier in June 2014 Sprint announced Galaxy S5 Sport SM-G860P, a Galaxy S5 Active SM-G870A handset with just name different. So, just like that, Sprint’s Galaxy S8 Active variant might get a different name altogether, maybe Galaxy S8 Sport?

The Sprint-bound Galaxy S8 Active is most likely to carry same features as that of AT&T version with Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 Mobile platform coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB on-board storage. It has 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 2960 x 1440 pixels resolution and has Samsung’s proprietary Bixby voice assistant pre-installed. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and will soon get Over the Air update to Android 8.0 Oreo.

In terms of optics, it has familiar 12 mega pixel dual pixel camera on the back with f/1.7 aperture with LED flash, Phase detection capable of recording 2160p videos at 30 fps. There is also 8 mega pixel camera on the front with f/1.7 aperture. Unlike Galaxy S8, it has 4000 mAh non-removable battery which provides up to 120 hours of standby time or 32 hours of talk-time. It’s expected to be priced at $800.
