Huawei Technologies, a leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer has finally unveiled all the new Huawei Mate X smartphone. It’s their first foldable phone and comes along with the launch of Samsung Galaxy Fold at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) event in Barcelona, Spain.

Along with Huawei Mate X, there is also Mate X Pro smartphone which is not foldable phone.

Under the hood, it has got home-grown Kirin 980 chipset coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB inbuilt storage.

Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei says that the device is tested for 100,000 folds.

In official words:

“This phone is not only for today for 5G but also for future 5G. On all the benchmarks you can see the performance, the speed is the fastest for 5G in the world,” says Roger Cheng, the head of Huawei’s consumer business group.
