Apple iPhone 5se with 4-Inch Display, NFC Leaked

A new leak suggests that 4-Inch iPhone model, a refresh version of iPhone 5S will be named as iPhone 5se.

Since a year we have the report that there will be a 4 inch iPhone coming in 2016 and it was reported to get March 2016 release. Quite interestingly a number of leaks were passed-on from time to time pertaining to this 4 inch iPhone name. Earlier it was rumored to be called as iPhone 6C but “C” letter is used for Plastic iPhone lineup, so then came the leak suggesting that the device will be called iPhone 5E but latest report suggests that the enhanced iPhone 5S version will be named as iPhone 5SE with the internal codename as N69.iPhone 5S

It’s quite easy to predict what could be the specifications of upcoming iPhone model as the Cupertino based iPhone maker doesn’t change the technology too quickly. The 4 inch display on iPhone 5SE will be providing nothing less than 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and it will be powered with proprietary A8 chipset with M8 motion co-processor. Yeah! The same combination which is deployed in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

In terms of iPhone 5SE camera, on the rear we will have 8 mega pixel snapper with LED Flash and on the front we have the 1.2 mega pixel camera.

Apple’s goal is to quickly make Apple Pay a popular service, so we will definitely see it incorporated on iPhone 5SE, which means NFC feature will be added. From the connectivity front we will have the Bluetooth v4.2, VoLTE, 802.11 ac WiFi and it will be available in Silver, Space Grey, Rose Gold & Gold.

Empowering the touchless payment, Apple Pay is now growing, now has £30 as upper cap limit in UK.

Apple Pay in UK was launched earlier this year and for the start, UK users were limited to 20 pounds with a single payment. Now after a number of requests, UK Cards Association, group which takes care of national credit card payments has raised upper limited for contactless payment to 30 pounds.

According to an association, using contactless card payment like Apple Pay reduces the risk of frauds. Furthermore, the association also released data that touchless card transaction is growing at a faster rate. Its volume has been increased from 287 million pounds in January to 567 million pounds in June. A total of 2.5 billion Pounds money was spent in the first half of 2015 as compared to 2.32 billion pounds in 2014.

Using Apple Pay or any other NFC based payment services, you rely less on cash and also avoid the risk of any frauds. Apple Pay in the UK was launched in July with 250,000 stores and eight regional banks supporting it. I am sure in the near future many stores will support Apple Pay.
