Comparing Smart Assistants: Google Assistant vs Alexa vs Siri [Infographics]

Here we have compared Smart Assistants i.e., Google Assistant vs Alexa vs Siri through an Infographics.

The usage of the smart assistant is on the rise. More and more people are getting introduced to smart assistants every day. The best part about them is the way these things work when you interact with them. A smart assistant is pretty similar to a virtual robot that does a lot of things for you. You can ask it to set an alarm and it will do it for you, similarly, if you ask it to play a song, it can do that for you as well.

Google vs Alexa vs Siri Comparison

Since a smart assistant works on the base of artificial intelligence and machine learning. It actually learns with time. It learns along with you. Though almost all of them work on the same logic and pattern, they just differ when it comes to protocols. At present, there are a total of 3 major giants who are working to make their products the best. Amazon’s Alexa, Google assistant, and Apple’s Siri. The below infographic is an excellent example of how all these assistant stand side by side with each other.

Comparing Smart Assistants

All these assistant work very fast, users may notice lag only when the internet connection is slow. On all other occasions, then assistant works very smoothly despite a complex process happening in the background.

Now talking about the working, the working for almost all the 3 assistants is similar. The very first thing to understand is that they get alert only when a certain word is uttered like you need to say “Hey Alexa, ‘Ok Google’ or Hey Siri” to alert their respective assistants.

Once you ask the assistant something, they quickly dissect the whole statement into small pieces and send it to the server.

There is an algorithm which then analyzes the whole statement to understand if the statement is an assertive statement or a query.

Once the query is analyzed, the response is framed and sent back to the assistant. Interestingly what remains to be seen is how do they grow up to be more helpful for all of us.

So, which of these smartphone assistants did you find helpful? Is it Apple Siri or Amazon Alexa? Do let us know!

The Do’s and Don’ts of SEO in 2025

SEO stands for search engine optimization, which is used to get any website at the top ranking of the search engine. If you’re an SEO marketer, or if you’re interested in raising your brand’s ranking on Google search, then you have come to the right place. Here is what to do and what to avoid to ensure your SEO efforts keep you on the right side of Google this year.

Don’t Set an SEO Strategy Without Intent

According to My SEO Sucks (myseosucks.com), customers are 8.5 times more likely to click on organic search results than paid results. You can’t rely on targeting an audience alone, and you can’t expect paid advertising to do the work for you.

This means that you have to create unique and insightful content and set a search intent that serves as a solution to a problem. Otherwise, your searches will come across as empty and are less likely to be seen.

Do This Instead

Search intent refers to the purpose of the search. If someone searches “SEO”, they’re most likely looking up the definition. It’s too broad and difficult to rely on that alone. However, a search with intent will pair keywords, such as “SEO services” or “SEO expert”, which means that they are looking for the expertise of a person or company. Therefore, you should aim to target keywords that will provide a solution.

Improve SEO DA and PA

Don’t Ignore Branded Anchor Text

A branded anchor is any anchor that uses the brand name as a hyperlink text that leads to your website. Link building strategies play an essential role in SEO; ignoring it will cause your brand to lose recognition and sink lower in searches due to the lack of leverage.

Do This Instead

Use branded anchor texts to your brand authority and recognition. Make sure to place them on websites and content that are relevant to your target page. For more leverage, use primary keywords or other variations close to your link. When done correctly, not only will you be discovered more often, your brand may increase in ranking as well.

Don’t Ignore Structured Data and Other Important Search Features

Structured data is coded in a format that search engines can understand. Search engines read the code and use it to display search results in a more detailed and eye-catching style. You may come across one if you do a search right now.

Look up “SEO techniques” on Google, and the first couple of results will appear as featured snippets. Ignoring structured data code and other tools will make you miss the opportunity to stand out.

Do This Instead

Look for a website or tool that offers structured data markup supported by the search engines. There are collections of codes that you can copy and adapt to your specifications. Then, you can add it to the website yourself, or you can use a plugin if you’re not the best at coding. All you’ll have to do is fill out some details, and the structured data will be generated for you.

Don’t Stick to Traditional SEO Techniques

You’ll often hear “stick with what you know” and “stick with what works”, but here, we highly advise against using SEO techniques from years ago. Google gets smarter every day, so it may detect you and have you penalized for it. The days where you could climb the ranks by using keyword stuffing and other shortcuts are gone.

Do This Instead

Don’t see algorithm changes as a means to punish websites; it’s there to enhance the user experience by promoting relevant content and always providing the best answer possible. Keep up with algorithm updates through tools like Google BERT and adjust your SEO technique accordingly. Following major updates will prevent you from falling behind and losing valuable traffic in the process. SEO has developed and changed its method, and so should you.

Don’t Ignore Conversion Optimization

The main goal for SEO is to be discovered and selected by customers, but many ignore the next essential step: conversion. If you only concentrate at the initial stages of your funnel, your strategy will mean nothing if you’re not turning your visitors into paying customers.

Do This Instead

Use conversion optimization techniques so that you’re generating revenue as well as attracting them. Once they come across your website, you want to improve your website and make everything they want and need readily accessible. Conversion optimization is where to show the customer why clicking on your website was the best choice.

Google Needs Huawei – After-Effect of Huawei’s US Ban

Huawei, oh Huawei. The unloved step-child of the phone industry is back in the news after reports surfaced that Huawei is completely banned from being sold in the United States.  For a moment, you could hear sighs of relief from Apple and Samsung, as their competition was being silenced in their main customer demographic country.  However, Google has a few choice words with the government when it comes to banning Huawei.

Wait – so how does Google fit into all this?

1.   Huawei and ARK OS

See, Huawei wasn’t just banned from being sold in the country.  The U.S government took it a step further and decreed that Huawei phones will stop receiving Android updates.  In the U.S’ defense, they gave Huawei a 90-day adjustment period, so Huawei devices are still receiving updates for the moment. Other than that, yea, Huawei is getting screwed by the United States.

Huawei ARK OS

But Huawei has been prepared for this.  When the ban was declared by President Donald Trump last month, Huawei responded that they have been creating and adjusting their own OS for their devices, simply known as ARK OS.  Is this a completely separate OS or a modified Android? Who knows, but Google doesn’t like the sound of it either way.

2.   Google And Security

Google, the distributors of Android, are honestly terrified of the prospect of Huawei having their own modified version of Android. According to Google, Huawei having their own version of Android would allow hacks and security flaws to become more prevalent in the U.S., as Google wouldn’t have any control over the updates that ARK OS receives.

One security expert with Google commented with: “Google has been arguing that by stopping it from dealing with Huawei, the US risks creating two kinds of Android operating system: the genuine version and a hybrid one. The hybrid one is likely to have more bugs in it than the Google one, and so could put Huawei phones more at risk of being hacked, not least by China.”

Adding a third OS already seems like a bad idea just because it may confuse the market, but there being two, maybe-indistinguishable versions of the same OS is just nothing but bad news.

After all, the whole reason that the United States is going after Huawei is because of security concerns. If banning Huawei from using Android causes Huawei to create an unsecure OS, we’ve done nothing but fan the flames of an already-big fire.

3.   Is There a Purpose to This?

To someone who hasn’t kept up with the drama surrounding Huawei, all this can seem like political dribble that is stupid and won’t go anywhere, but this case has many consequences for both sides. Huawei argues that the United States is using its political power to target their company, an action that is illegal in the United States. With this in mind, Huawei claims that if the U.S. wins the current lawsuit between them and the U.S., a dangerous precedent that allows the government to target any company they desire.

On the other hand, the U.S. has a legitimate concern with Huawei and their link to the Chinese government. If Huawei truly is sharing data to the Chinese government, that’s clearly a huge breach of privacy and data. With these concerns, the government won’t sit still and let it all happen.

On the deeper side of this fight is the attitude between China and the U.S.  It’s clear that both sides are suspicious of each other and that’s been true for a while now. This lawsuit, this ban, and the concern for security is all a result of boiling blood between the two nations that have existed for a while now. Maybe it’s because you can’t have Netflix in China without a VPN? All I know is that this Huawei drama has gone on for way too long.
